Last Screw on front cowling 2006 fz6

I'm attempting to replace my front cowling on a 2006 FZ6 with a new one. Everything seems to be going well except the last screw behing my speedometer I cannot seem to get to. I can see the screw behind my speedometer but I can't get to it at a straight enough angle to remove it. The electric speedometer which is blocking the last screw seems to be held in by a couple of screws but I cannot get to them. Does anyone have experience with taking off the front cowling and maybe could shed a little light on the one screw behind the speedometer. Everything else came off relatively easy so maybe I am just missing something. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks

i got too frustrated and never even got that far...maybe looking at an exploded view will help.

I'll see if I can post a picture maybe that will help. There has got to be a way to do it.
