Hey All,

My college grad took a job in Knoxville, TN. I looks like a nice place, but as with any city, I'm sure there are less desirable areas than others. Are there any avoid at all cost areas?

Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

i could ask for you. i have a lot of friends at UT and live near there, but i personally have not spent much time in Knoxville. Really my issue with the city is that its DIRTY. not that its a dump, but it just seems kind of dirty, if you go there you'll understand. the college/university area is nice if you can get past that horrendous hue of orange they chose for a school color.

My dad lives in Clinton (Oak Ridge area), about 8-10 miles east of Knoxville. He loves it there, and from what I have seen Knoxville is also pretty nice.
