I don't know how that could be remotely funny!!! Just think of the pain that has to be lived with here. That poor innocent car! Probably never even got to see the happy side of 100... Those are such beautiful vehicles. Then the kid was too stupid to push in the "2nd brake"!!! aka clutch. That guy is a moron!!! U don't hand the keys for a pinto to a 14 year old, much less that beautiful gleaming glory... :(

I dont think the kid is stupid for asking to take it for a ride, but whoever gave it to him definitely is. I wouldn't let a soul touch that regardless of age if i had it!

There is no such thing as an "Eleanor" Mustang. That was the name of a car in a movie.

Sorry, this has been a beef of mine since that movie.

Thanks captain obvious;)... it's merely an adjective used in common diction among car enthusiasts to describe a Mustang that is not an average Mustang. To be a true Eleanor, it would have needed to be painted Gray/Silver with black stripes and hood pins... which would look awesome on the new Cobra.

that was a nice looking mustang. you can't really blame the kid though, it was the parent's dumb idea to give him the keys

This is the classic scenario of the spoilt rich kid who`s parents just cannot say no to them.

I don`t know where dad got the common sense from to earn that kind of money.

I'll take a Super Snake in that paint job, please.

Actually the original Eleanor was yellow with black iirc. No one has seen the original movie?

I have. It was (other than the cars) the worst movie I've ever seen.
In half the scenes they dubbed in the audio, it's so confusing. Plus the acting kind of sucks.

I've seen it about 7 times. I would love to have the car from either movie but the 07 GT500 is amazing. If I ever hade a kid that did that I would make him dig his own grave. Keep out of it though if he rebuilds my garage. but at the same time I would never toss the keys to a $50,000 car to a teenager.
