Just ordered my Scorpions.

My bike is running cooler now. Cars are not on my tail when I'm sitting at a light or moving. Seems like cars know where I am at now and don't do the switch lanes thing when I'm next to them or in their blind spot. Nice changes in safety and the bike seems to run cooler now both the temp meter (down 1 bar) and my butt feel the difference in heat.

There seemed to be a large difference in weight also, the stock exhaust seems really heavy, like double the weight of the Scorpions. Should have weighted both before the install but it was looking like rain the whole time during the install.

They are a little loud on my ears though. Might look into buying the Dd killers as an add on in the future. For now earplugs will work at higher speeds for longer distances.

Am curious to know whether you lost any mid-range as my 04 with Remus and no DB killers was very flat.

You know, I'm not sure...

Only had the bike for about 2 months (first bike) now. When I first got it I wasn't really riding very well, in that I was shifting really early and not trying for power, etc. I was running around town, etc, at like 4,000-5,000 rpms, wasn't ready to harness any real power at that point.

It doesn't seem bad in mid-range, seems good. Sorry, probably not a very big help for your question.

What's the most affordable but reliable website where someone has ordered there scorpion exhaust from? I'm in the market of purchasing them. Stock sounds to weak.

Does anyone have the actual weight of the original vs. the replacement? I'm interested in the delta of the reduction. thanks.
