Purchased my first FZ6. I had an FZ1 years ago and loved it. Ran across a killer 2009 with 1700 miles and tons of upgrades.

Has tons of other mods. Has a 2 brothers exhaust, ventura rack, headlight and tail light modulation system, LCD display computer you can program. At this time mainly using for a gear indicator. It has a lithium battery. Don't know anything about them but I guess time will tell. Other stuff was included, have to look it up to remember what all was included.

It has a lithium battery. Don't know anything about them but I guess time will tell.

Here's the summary:
- it's 6-7 pounds lighter than original
- it does not need a battery tender, unless you'll be letting the bike sit for 6 months or so.
- when the temperature is 40 or below, it actually helps to put all the electronics on for several minutes before starting the bike. It wakes the battery up.

:welcome: Welcome to the Forum

There must be a story behind the original owner and why he bought and sold this. I mean this has to rank up there on the most mods per mile ridden scale.
Nice score - I am jealous of the seat

Welcome! I agree with the other posts, so few miles and so many mods! Almost like the PO liked modding more than actually riding.

Congrats on the purchase. Enjoy, and check and post often.

How much did you pay for it? Nevermind, you obviously stole it!

OK, things just keep getting better with this bike. I get a call from the seller today and he informs me he forgot to give the original seat and an additional Corbin seat. Apparently he did not like the first one he ordered and wanted additional padding so I guess I will be selling a Corbin seat.
