Is there an American Toy Run???

I've read some posts about the toy runs around the world and was wondering if there are any American toy runs? I can't think of a better way to cheer up some less fortunate kids and have a great time while you are doing it.

The South Florida Toys in the Sun run is this Sunday (11th), 30-35,000 bikes take part.

I guess my real question should be worded differently: Is there any Toy Runs close to central Kentucky??? I wouldn't mind riding for an hour or two for this cause but beyond two hours I might freeze to death in our weather.

I live in Kentucky or I totally would. What organization oversees the operations of the florida event? I could email them and find out if they do runs elsewhere, closer to where I live.

I just found a post from a guest titled "Great Teddy Bear Run." The post refers to a Bowling Green KY run from 2006 and I was wondering if anybody here knows if this run happens every year.

i know the marines have a "toys for tots" around here, there use to be a motorcycle club around that collected toys for less fortunate kids too, both great programs.

Call your US Marine Corps recruiter in your area. They will have any Toys for Tots info about toy runs. OOO-RAH and Semper Fi! GRUMPY
