Iphone?

I finally upgraded my original 2G Iphone to the new 3Gs. The old phone was jail broken and had a ton of apps-music on it. I made the mistake of restoring it to the original setting, and now it's pretty much useless. Anyone have any cool things that they are doing with their old Iphones? I guess I can make it into a $500 Itouch!

Couldn't you just jailbreak it again? Forgive my stupidity on this matter, but I have only very slightly researched jailbreaking on an iphone.

I can probably look up the info to break it again, but was wondering what the rest have done. I can't be the only one to upgrade the original Iphone, and wonder what to do with it.

You can Jailbreak ANY iPhone version. Go to TUAW -- The Unofficial Apple Weblog and do a little searching!!

i upgraded also from iphone 1st gen to iphone 3gs its really cool some new things that make it better im happy i broke mine then i was stuck with a razor i was going crazy trying to text

Just put my i phone in to be fixed - massively cracked screen...yet another thing i cannot seem to hold onto!

They told me they would either fix it, or replace it with one of the new ones...am hoping they cant fix it....

Love the i phone!

I would use your old one as a music player....get an adapter for your cage, and bop away to your heart's content.

The original iphones are still going for a premium on ebay, I'd look into that if you can't come up with any other uses.

I'm currently using mine as a fancy remote control for my media pc, but you have to have a media pc first. Other than that....what about as a deskclock/radio/digital picture frame? Would probably be nice on the desk at work.

I have an original Iphone also that I just use for mp3 and games when I have down time at work. Sell it or just use it as an Ipod touch.
