Indoor Skydiving

I did something a bit different yesterday. We have a new entertainment complex in Ogden that has a vertical wind tunnel, you suit up and step in and can simulate free-fall. It was quite a hoot, and more-experienced guys can do some pretty neat stunts. Check out the video tab here: http://www.iflyutah.com

Skydiving was fun when I went. Not exactly what I was expecting but still pretty awesome!

I saw Jason Britton do this in a SuperBikes episode, looks pretty awesome. Definitely something to add to the to do list.

I would love to try that. Ever since i saw them doing it on Drop Zone? I think was the movie.

I did it years ago in Vegas. My buddies could sort of get the hang of it, but I was :tard:ed and couldn't really do it right. It was tough to keep myself horizontal. If you get a little off horizontal, you start moving all around inside the wind tunnel. For me it was just sort of frustrating that I couldn't do it properly more than fun. For those who demonstrated it, it looked really fun.

I have a gift certificate to do this out here in SoCal, just haven't found time to go yet!
