Was trying to change out the stock grips on my 05 (surprised it hadn't been done prior to be getting the bike). I was getting extremely frustrated because as I was trying to remove the bar end weights, I kept rounding out that stupid small hex head. I ws getting extremely mad and soaked the weight down in WD40 hoping to get all the rust out so I could remove the screw.
Then it dawned on me what a great resource this forum is and I did a search (imagine that). I ended up finding this picture and felt like a complete moron. Credit to SirIsaac for this pic
Needless to say, this worked a treat and I had the new grips on within 10 minutes. Moral of the story, when someone posts "do a search", it's not because we're trying to be rude, it's because there's probably an answer somewhere on here.
