Haha I think its kinda cool. The Can-Am is lame because it doesn't have the benefits of a car (keep you dry) but also can't lean like a bike. This, on the other hand, has both. It just looks a little...odd. Reminds me of the BMW scooters I used to see over there growing up.

I suppose with two wheels counter-steering rules still apply but in a bubble and that sitting position one would want to steer it like a car.
 
You have two types of riders those who ride in the rain and those who don't. Those that do have no problems with it, those that don't probably never will. So seems like it would only have a small market and that would be for scooter riders who don't wear gear.

I ride in the rain and have a problem...I get wet! I don't want to invest in rain gear for the 10 days it rains, but I always seem to be out there riding when it happens:(
 
I like it! But....I'm thinking about the first few times I rode my mountain bike with my new Shimano shoes with the clips on the pedals. Yeah you guessed it. I would pull up and stop and forget to twist out and had people laughing their butts off when I would take a spill. I'm thinking the stabilizers should have an automatic mode. Then there always the question of different anomalies like, Is there something in the way of any of the wheels going down?
Then...last but not least. where will I cut the holes to modify the shell so I can hang off?! Hahaha! I do think it cool though...

I sort of like it. I can see a place for it, such as in areas that are constantly rain-soaked and premium riding time is limited.

I ride in the rain. I have a two piece Nelson Rigg suit and glove covers. My boots are waterproof. But. we don't have a lot of rain here. If it was raining more often than not, I'd be less apt to ride in the rain or even have a bike at all.

BTW, the rain suit was only $59.00 and is very durable.

I start a 1500+ mile journey tomorrow with plans that cannot be broken. So, if it is raining, I guess I'm wearing because I'm not stopping!
 
When I saw the fold-down wheels before they folded them down I thought "Wow they must be expecting a lot of lean to have those wheels way up there!:rof:" I agree there really should be an automatic thing that folds them down. She didn't even explain about them, just said nobody would forget :confused:

Where are you headed for that long of a trip?
 
I've seen that clip before and that vehicle as well. It is pretty old, look how young Clarkson is. :)

The stabilizers are completly automatic.

I sort of like it. but I'm someone who wants everyone to ride so that everyone will be more aware of riders.
 
Looked like a decent amount of room in that bubble, if it weren't so expensive it could have replaced a lot of cars...that's one thing I still use the car for, grocery shopping, although it bugs me that everything slides around back there.
 
It's different, I bet Jay Leno would get one if he doesn't already. Wonder if it has air-conditioning installed, otherwise could be a mobile solarium! How hot do you think that thing would get in stop and go traffic?
 
It's a shame it's fugly... and what happens when the automatic wheel-extendo-matic fails?

Anybody else think it sounded funny? Here's why. Click on the "Superball-motor" and watch the linked video at the bottom-left corner "Film starten". Even if you don't understand German, if you have some basic automotive knowledge you'll understand what's going on. Simply amazing!

I have deamed of a motorcycle like that since i was a kid and saw the movie Tron....That thing is awesome!!! I want the turbo version he mentioned!! Oh Yea that thing is Cool !!!! :rockon: :thumbup: :thumbup: :D

This one is also in production, does have heat, AC, stereo, etc.... all the comforts of a car. Fully auto stabilizers... same company.
