I hope they don't. I like seeing the old beauties riding around. I don't wanna see them getting thrashed in MotoGP

I think they would be better off in SuperBikes in the short to medium term. MotoGP requires more engineering depth than just building good bikes, even for the big boys it is hard work, ask Suzuki.

I think the reason they are targeting Moto GP is because of the new "3 tier" rules proposed for the premier class of GP racing...effectively 3 classes of racing within the one rece series!

They would be putting themselves in the "Claiming Class".

Strange stuff, i dunno whether i am liking the look of these new rules for 2012!

Would be much simpler & cheaper if you took a road bike of a nominal maximum capacity then allow a % variance for different engine configurations depending on which way the manufacturer would like to develop, then allow a few other things being a little free such as suspension, exhausts....

Oh wait, DORNA we already have a series like that, its called Superbike racing you tool bags :Flip:

Im another one who doesnt understand the new rules but I would really enjoy seeing Norton racing again :thumbup:
