I think my dad's house is haunted

I've never seen ghosts or whatever, but I got a strange event myself.
I went to sleep on an evening and just before I woke up the next morning I was in the room next to my bedroom. I heard an really loud buzzing at the same time and 2 seconds later I woke up with a shock in my bedroom. So I had been out of my body for 2 sec's and it was just to real to be a dream. If you dream you can have the impression that it feels like real, but when you wake up you know it was just a dream. In that out of body-experience I just knew it wasn't a dream. Really strange.

Danny always made fun of me because when I met him (at the age of 17), I was still sleeping with a nightlight on. :o

I still use night lights!! They are used to prevent me from killing myself by stepping/tripping on all of the frigging toys my dog leaves laying around.:Flash:

On another note, my friends old farm house is haunted. Nothing scary, but sometimes small stuff you can't explain happens. Usually it is stuff like your watch or cell phone being on the wrong side of the dresser in the morning. Or what sounds like a little old lady calling your name, or a door creaking open. For some reason, none of it seems threatening there. My friend says it is part of the charm of owning an older house, though his wife was really freaked out the first year they lived there.

I grew up in a house from the late 1700s, and never experienced anythind weird like this myself. However, I love ghost stories and hearing of others' experiences. Keep 'em coming!

I saw a "spirit" once when stationed at Bawdsey, we slept in the old manor house. Early in the morning i awoke to see an old man staring at me from the other side of the room, I got up and ran towards the light switch, just before I turned the light on I looked at him again and he was still there, after turning the light on he disappeared.
Many times since then I have tried to convince myself that I was somehow sleep walking/dreaming but everything was so clear.

Anyway since this time many unexplainable things have happened and I am 100% sure there is a spirit world.

Ok throw me in the crazy corner too :o

call me crazy too. i had a weird experience while i was in okinawa japan. i was in my room sleeping and i couldn't sleep very well and was tossing and turning. i rolled over and looked toward the corner of the room and i swear there was a man standing there. he was dressed in old military clothing like WWII style. it kinda freaked me out a bit but was like oh well and rolled back over. a few minutes later i woke back up because there was a pressure pushing on my body. i couldn't get up i was trying my hardest but could only bounce a bit. i kept saing get off of me, then i finally said get the F@#! off of me and the pressure was gone. it was very creepy. i never told anybody for months because i didn't want to here any junk about it. then another person experienced the same thing, same figure and pressure. this time on a different floor but same wing of the building. there were alot of deathes on that island. the were digging to build a new building and uncovered 7 bodies in one day. all in unmarked graves. crazy crazy

dang i had goose bumps reading most the stories and telling mine.

Very scary. I would have to say that i would stay someplace else if something like that happened to me. Anything to do with ghosts just creeps me out.

I've had two experiences that I would not like to talk about. But a few years back a cousin of mine when she was 10 years she used to have conversation with some one in her sleep. Ok that's not bad right? Well she was speaking in Latin!! Now keep in mind that she is in Greece and that is like someone waking up and being able to speak Chinese. Her parents had totally freaked out. It was going on for about a week. Her mother who is my father's younger sister called my parents and I went with my parents over to there house. It was really shocking. A couple of days later a priest went over to there house and read some prays (it was not an exorcism) and she stopped. She had no recollection of the experience.
