Ok now that I have them, how do you take the old ones off, and put the new ones on???

HVMP bar ends (HEAVY!) review

Very easy. Just need a large hex wrench (I think it's 8mm or 10mm). Insert into original bar end and unscrew.
Put blue loctite on threads of HVMP bar end and screw in. Tighten to 60 inch pounds.

They are very nice. Vibration dampaning is greatly increased over the stock bar ends. When I installed these, I also cut my grip puppies off as they were pretty shotty after 2.5 seasons of use. After I installed them, I went for a ride wearing just some Castly neoprene work gloves, not nice padded motorcycle gloves. I will say that the new bar ends with just the stock grips and unpadded gloves had less vibes then the stock bar ends with grip puppies and padded gloves. I could feel next to no vibration under 6300 RPM. After that the vibration did start to creep back. The 6500-7000 RPM range has always been one of the buzziest on my bike and while the vibes are greatly reduced, it's still there. Above 7000 and once you're out of that bad midband buzz, it's pretty good. I'll likely get another set of grip puppies to put on as I'd grown to like the thicker grip and for more dampaning. I may also try the lead shot idea too.

Mine came in while I was in Maui (hard to install them from there), having took the red eye back arriving this morning; I installed them this afternoon and will test them on my way to work in the morning. I’m way too tired to go for a ride to test them this afternoon, plus the best place for me to test is my daily commute to and from work.
Expect a note back this time tomorrow evening. They installed pretty simple, are significantly heavier and larger than the OEM ones.

Mine are doing the same thing. I am thinking about filling the bar with lead and installing the puppies to kill the rest of the vibes. Over all I am really happy.

I'm extremely happy! I drove over 100 miles with them today, and while still "feeling the rode" the overall vibration has been greatly, in some cases totally, reduced to a manageable level, again thanks for arranging this buy!
I have an additionally benefit, while riding out here I split the lane. I can see the "silver" ends better than the black OEM ends and that allows me to better judge available space between cars and side mirrors, even more important considering they are longer then the OEMs.

Got mine yesterday, and will be installing them today after work (I had no blu-locktite yesterday). Can't wait to get these on!!

I finally got to put my on today, and I must say wow, what a difference they make. I haven't taken the bike on the freeway yet to tell how much difference they make for me at higher rpms, but just running around town about 5k to 7k they make a huge difference in the vibes my hands feel after riding.
I've had these on for awhile now, so I thought I might post up some pics for anyone thinking of purchasing these. Thanks again to Erci for putting together the group buy. :thumbup: These bar ends are awesome, and IMO no Fizzer should go without them. They virtually eliminate all 'buzzing' in the bars, even with Bar-backs/risers (I have SW-Motech 1.3" risers on my bike).
