My 2007 S2 with 15.000 km (9400 mi) cost 5000 euros ($6300).

...and it was a bargain, being an S2 in immaculate condition and stock apart from a Givi rack, 12V outlet and TomTom Rider.

Most similar examples on the market were around $8000+, and most 5k€ bikes were old models and/or dropped and/or high mileage. The 5k examples included a 2004 FZ6N with 45.000 km and a dropped 2006 with 20.000 km and a shattered fairing.

A new FZ8-S is $16.400, or $17.600 with ABS, and an FZ1-S ABS is $22.000.

Cage comparison: a BMW 320i starts at $49.000, an M5 at $220.000.

For a country with so much racing heritage our government really hates motor vehicles!

$4,400 for 2009 (4500 miles) here in Houston. Many farkles included: Alarm, adjustable levers, painted lower cowl, Scorpion exhaust, tail bag, trimmed turn signals, larger wind screen (original too), fender eliminator, and frame sliders. Original tires though (will need to switch out soon). :Flash:

I paid $2600 for my 2006 this past spring. Had 15000 miles on it, all records kept for maint. New front and rear tire. Gel set, oil change, new battery, and never laid down. Awesome bike !!!!I love it !!! Since then I have put new foot pegs, new grips, intake mod, drilled baffles (they sound awesome!!) k&n intake filter, flush mount LED front turn signals, and integrated rear brake/ turn signals

Bought my 2006 fz6 in march this year, 2500 km's only, mint condition for $4500. I drove 2 1/2 hours to pick it up........prior owner gave me two soft sided saddle bags, cover, can of oil, filter, a pair of leather chaps (excellent condition), and his like new joe rocket motorcycle jacket.......threw all of it in with the bike.....
