I have to ask, you're seeking out long extended strips of straight highway for your road trip? Why not stick to all back roads? Just curious...

did you ride with that wood??? nuts man.. but goot to know you can do that since i will be camping a bit and dont wanna have to lug arm loads of wood if i dont have to..

oh and i will do someback roads, but to get to some further away places i would like to do some highway riding.. upper maine has some really nice back roads, but it takes 5-6 hours to get to them.. pulling wheelies with the new top case at 120mph will be fun :squid: j/k

not in reference to the luggage bag, what is the top speed of the fz6 stock? i've never pinned it out.

i think its around 147-150 mph depending on road conditions and if im going up a hill or down... but generally i don't top out the bike, cant see it being a good thing to run it for a time at the red line..
