and as food rules go:

-deep frying anything makes it better / edible if not already

so unless you can add anything, i think i eat it the best way possible

How do you eat corn-on-the-cob was the question - not how do you eat corn! you're eating corn-off-the-cob.

But really - cutting the corn off? Why don't you just go out and buy a can of it at that point?

Because fresh corn on the cob tastes great on or off the cob. Canned corn is horrible!

Also I have physical reasons not to eat it off the cob. I have 2 front teeth that are capped due to an accident in college. Don't really think enjoying corn on the cob is worth a potential $2,500 dentist visit.
