As far as I'm concerned, this thing looks awesome, but I want opinions. Also, it would be great if someone owns it and can post some details on it. I'm tempted!

What will it hold? Looks kinda small.

Even if you go through all the option for size it does not mention fitting the FZ6...unless you were thinking about putting this on another bike...

It basically looks like it replaces the OEM passanger seat with an expandable hole...Problem is it doesn't look like there is any riggid sides, so unless you pack it full it will slosh around on turns...IMHO FWIW

Don't know about the functionality, but that is the worst product shot/illustration I've seen in a long time! Haha.

Won't fit the FZ unless your model has the seperated pillion seat but I know someone who has it on their ZX-10 and says it's a good piece.

Not really a good idea. Things that do more than one thing usually dont do them all well.

Imagine this problem. You have a tail pack full of stuff, a cutie wants a ride, Booooooo all your tailpack stuff has to go away.
Flip side you have a cutie wanting a ride, but you cant use your tailpack.

Tank bags are the way to go. Expandable tank bags rock.

Well then you can say the same thing about the seat cowl. The reason why I have a tailbag is that it takes away that god ugly banana seat look that our FZ has. Kind of breaks up the seat into two pieces. If you noticed, the 2009 FZ6R has improved the looks of the seat by making it a two piecer.

And let's be realistic, you have a cutie who wants a ride, she most likely will have no gear. I've only met one girl who asked me to take her for a ride when I was at one of the casino's in town. I responded, "yeah I give you a ride straight over to my place".

I use this.

VENTURA IMOLA 14-22LT EXPAND - Sydney City Motorcycles

It's like the tardis. you can get loads of stuff in it. It has never leaked on me yet, it is really quick to clip on and off the bra and has a nice fat handle so you can use it as a hand bag or man bag...lol. you can also put a swag on the back then put the bra on that instead.

You can just make out the bra on the back. I leave it on with pillions too.

Normal setup.

the only downside for a vertically challenged person like myself is getting a leg over.

Cheers
Mike

Had to say its not that great. I'm not a big luggage guy, I like a clean look, but if I had to get a tailbag I'd probably get this one. Looks decent and like it would fit our bike, not sure about the capacity. I agree with Wrightme, I think tank bags are the way to go. Dont want to deny the cuties the opp!

You didn't have "POS" as an option, so I voted totally gay. Might as well strap a grocery bag on the back.

I've got a little pet peeve that flares up from time to time, so I'm posting a picture with the link underneath of what the original poster is talking about so I don't have to click to go somewhere else, bringing up new windows, different websites, etc. etc. just to see it.

Nothing against anyone or anything, especially nothing against the OP, I'm just doing it for myself so I'm not so bothered about it. Right click, properties, copy url, paste, and viola! Picture in post.

Have a nice day!

It's a neat idea, but nothing new. Those expanding tail bags have been around for a while now. Might be great to have on your bike just for commuting or tooling around town and you deceided to pick up a loaf of bread or something. But that's what I have a tank bag for.

I'm also not a huge fan of luggage, but I do own some Joe Rocket saddle bags that do come in handy for when I do trips with the lads. But if I know I'm going on a trip/touring, then I purposely put on the nessicarry luggage.

As for "getting a leg over"...umm you don't do that when you have tail luggage on your bike. You instead simply slide/shoot your leg through the open seat area in front of the tail luggage.

+1. I was looking at that one too and thought it looked pretty good. It even has a back rest. I have a tank bag that I use to commute to work at its great.

Technically I think you'd want to get this one with the one-piece FZ seat:

In either case, it seems to me that you might as well get a better tail bag and just live with it being a tail bag as it won't fool anyone. It's either going to be function over form or form over function but that bag is not splitting the difference IMO.

I've got an Oxford tailpack which I've had for 4 years and is brilliant for packing a few things in. You can just about make it out in this crap picture. I voted totally gay because I'm a bit like beavis and butthead and can't help pointing out that you said gay
