I thought you guys said an FZ6 wouldn't power wheelie in first gear. I scarred the crap out of myself!

Just out of curiosity, how hard can the front end come down before I start to tear stuff up.

Yup. It has definitely happened to me a time or two.

I'm actually more interested in who stated that the FZ6 couldn't power wheelie in first gear. The bike has more than enough umph to do so.

You don't want to slam it down or bring it down hard regularly, but if you happen to carry the front wheel a few inches off the ground under hard acceleration once in a while I don't think it will hurt anything in my opinion as it comes down pretty gently from there:thumbup:. Watch out for the front wheel shimmy when you touch down again:eek:. This can get a bit hairy so it's best avoided by keeping the front wheel in contact with the ground:D

LOL I accidently did a huge wheelie when I was accelrating hard and forgot that my girlfriend was riding with me. Thankfully she had a really tight grip hahaha...she chewed me out afterwards...
