Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

I'm thinking of heading out tonight for a little hoot (that's nightowl speak for ride...lol.). I'll probably head out around 1 AM for all those interested and the speeds will be fairly easygoing due to a close encounter with half a tree in Corro Valley the other night...lol.

Sorry mate, the Mt01's rear tyre is Shagged, and the forks are being rebuilt on the TRX so I'm a NO SHOW...stay safe little buddy...TREES HURT :cheer:

They're sure hurting at the moment....some are actually jumping on the road in front of us now.

Came round a 35km/h bend the other night and within 15m there was a massive branch blocking 2/3 of the road. Fortunately because it was windy I'd slowed down for just such an occasion. Still rather thrilling in a "holy cow I'm gonna die" sort of way...lol.

Oh yeah, there was a heap of wanna-be boy-racers in their little 4 cyl snot-boxes heading up to the hills from Greenhill Rd, so watch out.

Darn near needed a full glass after the branch on the road the other night. Had a look today and there's not much distance from the apex of the corner to where the branch was. I was doing 61 round a 35km/h corner so it wasn't too bad. Would've been horrid at 80.

Well that did not last long, got to the bottom of Belair road, and my foot was rather sore...so we turned around and came home! 25km ride! At least 15km's of it was the Twisties, even if the road was infested by Cagers going on their Saturday Afternoon crawl!

Sorry, no photo's! I suppose i have to take it easy for a while....more so than anything, so i am ok to ride to the WSBK in a couple of weeks.

You'll be happy to know I covered enough km today for the lot of us...lol.

Found some nice low speed cruising roads that seemed to short cut an awful lot of traffic too.:cheer::cheer:

Yes i did feel a bit soft, but i am just a little freaked out about it, since i found out there was an "Acute Fracture" yesterday...sorta gotta ride a few km's in about 2 weeks, so i need to look after it.... :shakehead::banghead:

It's all good mate. Riding your bike is not supposed to be a punishment. If you end up still sore for PI you'll really suffer for it. I really did find some little used roads today too so it worked out really well. Way less traffic than upper sturt road and straight into Stirling too.....Rennie's does a good coffee there, or they used to...lol:rockon:

So I guess this means no more base jumping....that IS what you tell people when they ask how it happened isn't it?...LMAO:thumbup:.

Yep! spot on! ...is a high risk job the way we carry on! This is about my fourth injury or accident on stage in 2.5 years! Sometimes those falls are real! Ouch! :squid:
