As much as I,d love to it's the last weekend before school goes back so it's fun with the kids time and I,m dropping the oil out one day this weekend to I got try this Motul everyone raving about !

oh I ain't been raving about it, but I did need to get the crap yamalube outta my bike! Just wanted to go back to A fully synthetic oil, like I usually use!

Our lycra clad friends are in the south again today ...

Mainly in the Aldinga, McLaren Vale and Willunga Hill areas.

And as before from 11am to approx 3pm.

Hills look good for tomorrow .....

Hopefully I'll have a new front tire on by 1:30 tomorrow. Mine gave up the ghost Thursday night. Wasn't sure so I took it for a spin down Lobie road (where I was headed when Wolfman rang today) and it's definitely passed it's use by. The rear will get done next week...lol. DOH! Maybe I should get some more Battleaxe 020's:eek:.:spank::ban:

Did an oil change tonight. Had to put in the Yamalube rubbish that I already had, so I'm up for another oil change in 3000km (about 500 before it burns totally black.):(

You shoulda seen the crap that we emptied out of my beast, the other night, brown, soupy, and grainy....definitely not synthetic oil, like i was "supposed" to have in my engine....that was the last straw, engine will be serviced elsewhere now that my warranty has expired!

My rear tyre is also close to stuffed now, am going to go back to a 180 /50 Pilot Power 2ct...just to see the difference between that and the 190/55.

With a few months (theoretically) of dry weather to come I'm opting for Pilot powers this time round. I'll get 2 rears to one front hopefully and then switch back to pilot roads for the rain. Of course this will give me even more reason to stay off the straight roads...lol. (Evil things they are).:D

My Rear Pilot Power is definitely a bit squared off after about 1500km's of mainly straight roads the other day...and i wonder why i normally stick to the hills, but i do love the long distance rides...

Since we've been talking about the long rides, I decided on Pilot Roads at the last moment. Odd feeling having the new rounded front on. Scared the carp outta myself on the first bend as it rolls over and pushes you into a turn. The Dunlop was worn on the edges and not in the middle so it was ....well...pointy I guess...lol.


Point is....Yup, I'm in....lol.:thumbup:

Ok , so that's Mike (Ozzieboy), Andy (Apollo), Matt (MT01 - Just a big scary monkey boy), Me, and possibly Gary (Z1000) & His Buddy on the zx6r, who's name i can never remember, for this arvo's cruise!

Weather is spot on, and the "Wank Down-under" is nowhere near where we are riding!

Well, Mike just left after a short ride, and a long dinner at the local cafe, with my boy, Aidin tow!

Well we did it again today...did not even get within 2km's of my house, and we lost Andy (Apollo)...how i dont know, i was leading, pulled into the Petrol Station, turned around and he was gone!

Now after this early setback we settled into a nice leisurely pace, in the bautiful afternoon son...gave the bikes their legs on Strathalbyn road, stopped at Meadows for a quick drink & snack, and made our way back home.

All very pleasent and non-eventful, really!

But still a nice short blat.

Looks like it's just Mike & Me, now, for tomorrow morning's run...Matt aint coming now, and Gary was mumbling something to me today about meeting us somewhere.

Oh well, it's off to Mine & now Mike's favourite piece of road, Lobethal Road, for a speed limit run! or three!

Remember, if anyone wants to join us.....pm me now, as we are meeting at my house again....."the gateway" to the twisties!

Ahh, I see. I can meet at your place, no worries. No point going down to Macca's if heading out Lobie way.

I'll check back later and see what's what.
