Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

Sure have:(. The unfortunate thing about a 70km commute in winter is the center cops a flogging:spank:. Have gotten about 9300km from it and would've gotten more if -
a) I wasn't such a hoon off the mark...lol...love that acceleration:rockon:.
b) My wheel alignment wasn't off slightly for a couple hundred km....wasn't much but didn't help:spank:.
c) Compression lockup decelerating hard on greasy roads (mainly on two particular corners).:shakehead:
I've had them slipping and sliding (front and rear) through the twisty stuff and am pretty keen to try something better anyhow. Don't like the front slipping at all....scares the carp outa me:eek:. Of course cold roads that don't entirely dry out don't help. Coming into better weather now:thumbup:, new tire rear and new tire front in two weeks:thumbup:. The front has worn a bit too so it wasn't all wheel alignment trouble wearing the rear.

Was still raining when we met at Macca's!

Last we saw of it all day, except for about 10 drops at Victor, which prompted Apollo to pull out the loudest wet weather pants in recorded history!

I reckon he was actually going to a rave after our ride... ;)
 
Sorry dude, can you type in bold? I'm having trouble seeing....I was riding behind him...lol.:D On a more serious note, they do stand out like the proverbial whatsits and probably make you safer in the wet.:thumbup:

Yeah and they could of come in handy at the royal show the other night when the lights went out!

And on a serious note, should get myself a vest for riding up those unlit hills roads at 4am in the morning...Not many people around, makes those that are less aware.

Its pretty wild that most of riding gear, including wets is black or very very dark. Its like we dont want to be seen by cages.

Do you have any trouble keeping them clean? I can only hand wash my jacket without soap and the white bits are starting to go grey. Road grime sticks pretty well.
