Headed for Naked... Finally There!

Some of you might have seen my earlier thread showing highlights from my naked conversion.

My mirrors went on today so I consider the overall project complete (although there's always more to do).

After I tightened the last bolt on the mirrors, I rode down the street to take a few photos. It was about 15 degrees so I didn't hang out for too long.

As a guy who has limited mechanical experience and even fewer tools, I have to say the experience of converting the bike was very beneficial. I learned a so much from working on my bike almost daily.

Thanks again to Davidsa1 for talking me through some of the more difficult parts.

Do you have any close ups of the headlight/windscreen mounting?

I have the same ones that I'm going to be putting on soon and would like more ideas.

Looks really nice. Did you end up buying two left mirror mounts or a left and a right? Which mirrors are those?

Thanks. I bought 1 left and 1 right. Those are Rizoma mirrors. The adapters for the mirrors come with both left and right mounting bolts.

Thanks guys. Didn't doubt I could do it, but I had never attempted a project of this size on my bike. I still want to get some new levers and grips and then I think I'll be totally satisfied (yeah right )

Now I just wish it wasn't so cold so I could show her off.

Looks gr8 .. .now you just need some dirbike/LSL/Rizoma bars and some cooler looking turn signals (Rizoma maybe).
