Exciting news in terms of advanced classes. Next year we'll be offering a brand new class called ARC (advanced rider course). This one is geared specifically toward sport bikes, though all types of bikes will be welcomed.

Nothing increases your knowledge, like trying to teach others. You'll get to the point where you can explain every concept you teach to at least 3 ways..... and when you're REALLY good, you can do it 5. Never stop learning.

I took the Team Oregon ARC in 2005. If you folks finally get to teach same/similar material, everyone will benefit. We did it on a go kart track. What a hoot.

Except for the cruiser riders who would get scared as soon as they started dragging parts.....

Many vendors will sell you their gear at dealer's cost, and many offer some sort of discount anywhere from 10-20%. You just have to call and ask. I just picked up my Sidi Boots from Motonation at dealers cost.

Too bad you missed out on the Shoei X-12 helmets for $120. 3 helmet max to each RC since the deal was so good. Those helmets retailed over $600!

Just shows how much rip off profit there is in it?

I'm still blown away by the fact that 9 of my students had never been on a bike before till Saturday morning and by mid-day Sunday they were doing U-turns in 20' x 60' boxes.. that's better than majority of riders on the road with LOTS of experience!!
This is an amazing curriculum and I am honored to be given a chance to teach it.

Congratulations... I did the u-turn during my class and then 3 weeks later dropped my bike doing a u-turn in the parking lot at work. :spank: I was going too slow and got too confident
