A scrambler motorcycle, or just scrambler, is a type of all-terrain motorcycle. Streetbikes were modified to overcome cross country terrain. Also known as dirt bike

is this what you meant?

I wouldn't do this to mine but that is because when I first showed it to a friend he called it a Dirtbike... The only way I could see it being confused with a dirtbike was the way the seat is a bench seat.

I think there are a few here who have mod's that are similar to adventure riding style.

anything can be done. and everyone has their reasons. but i honestly don't see why you would.

feel free to be the first. take a lot of pics and documentation and post it on here so we can all see your creation.

It's a dumb idea. But anything is possible. Jack it up (a LOT), get better suspension, get rid off the fenders, install off-road tyres, take off anything you can take off to save weight, get something to REALLY protect the radiator.

It was done with a GPZ500S and probably loads of other bikes. As was said, anything is possible. One guy took an R1 round the world off-road.

But TBH, buy a smaller, lighter bike with a single or twin engine. The big, 4-cylinder, heavy FZ6 is awesome on-road, crap off. I know, I did a somersault off mine on mud and bent the crash-protector bolt all the way in a campsite.
