Has anyone changed the color of their bike by getting the parts?

Has anyone changed their FZ6 from one factory color to another factory color by just parts alone?
How much does it cost?
Tank, faring, side pieces, tail piece, front mud gaurd, etc?

About $1300 before tax. That's based on a quick look at one of the cheaper OEM parts websites. And that is staying with the same style, change to a different year's fairings would mean new mounting brackets, if it is even possible to fit them properly.

Taking the parts of and taking them to an auto detailer will be alot cheaper... least around here.... fairings tanks etc tend to run high costs... getting them painted involves a little bit more downtime potentially but saves your wallet. Lots of places specialize in what your talking about, 1 factory color changed to a different one, just got to find a good detailing shop.
