Nice one mate,

I did my minutes silence at 11.AM. Non of my new work mates had a clue what I was doing.

Thank you. I am retired USAF. I see you are in Woodbridge. My Daughter lived in Stafford and I have friends in Lorton.

You're welcome, I'm still active. It was a wonderful day to ride so I decided to visit the USAF Memorial.

Have a good one.

20 years in the USN.... I don't regret it. Seeing the Arizona Memorial has stuck with me for a long time. Standing over the hull in the memorial, seeing bunker fuel still coming to the surface 40 years later was something I am sure I will never forget.

Thanks for your service.

We have a Rememberance Day here in Oz on 11/11 and most schools, workplaces have a minutes silence at 11am.
I like to go to Ballarat and the ceremony there is at the Prisoners of War Memorial close to the Arch of Victoria.

I appreciate this post and honour my American Friends.

I feel completely un-American now. I didn't even know yesterday was Veterans day?

Disregard...it's Wednesday (see how good I am?)
