07+ has a helmet lock. 06 and earlier did not. They are inferior. We are superior.

Join me, now, in laughing at their pain.

From where I come from, stealing someone's helmet is no different than attempted murder.

The Perry Lock

This is what I use, an alarmed Oxford lock 98dB Thatcham approved.
It also prevents rain falling in it (when the lid is upright on the tank).
I have had one person try to remove it but the alarm must have scared the bejeezus out of them.

The toothbrush was for size comparison.

They would be too expensive to make and ship. I am sure you can find something similar close to home.

They are made as a DETERRENT, nothing is bomb proof.

The nice thing about living in a no helmet state is nobody wants one. I generally put mine on the ground right next to the bike but there are very few times I am away from the bike to the point I can't see it. Heck, I typically don't take the keys out of my cage and the house is often unlocked too. Nice to feel really safe ain't it???
