A simpler option might be some jota bars.....jonac mounted them on his bike and seemed to really like them as I recall

I love the look that the Jota bars give to an FZ6...I'd get 'em in a heartbeat if my arms weren't already stretched out straight with the OEM bars.
(And no..I don't want to install risers )

I'd love to get a set of JOTA bars, but after shipping from the UK it comes out to just over $200, ugh. So at the moment I have an FZ1 bar (recent model) sitting in my garage. It's been done, just needs a little drilling for the throttle housing. It will put you forward about 1.5" and down maybe 1" If i ever get around to installing it I'll let you know how it works out.

I set out looking for new bars and in the mean time loosened the four bolts and rotated the existing bars down until they just touch the tank at full lock. Looks better, feeld better, handles better. Better enough so I've stopped looking for new bars. Give it a try while you search for your replacement.

Suburban bars gives you a more aggressive stance while riding. Had them on for a few days already and loving them. A bit expensive 170 shipped but definately top quality stuff. Fits like oem
