Yes sir, you are correct - shock absorber guts. In this case a 2003 R1 being torn down for Re-valve.

inline 4 cylinder with shaft drive.....so that rules out the Rukus.


Hows about K1300R....?

DING, DING, DING!!!! Correct, the newly released BMW K1300S! Picture was taken at the 2007 Atlanta MC show!

Now I'll admit, I'm not a BMW fan but this engine was SO advanced and I loved the cut aways. Just the valves,( as I re-call) were titanium and were so thin, very, very neat. And of course, the funky front end some folks love and inherent with the BMer

From the shaft, figured it was a bike, was Gonna say its not Japanese and doesn't appear to be Italian, so that leaves the others....
