Too cool. Maybe they could do the same thing with storm drains and railroad crossings?

Let's hope it's turned to reality. Although I reckon if councils aren't bothered about potholes they'll never fit these, apart from maybe when the old ones are nicked by travelling folk....and if they are cheaper.

Mad like crazy not angry
it looks like rubber....do you think it would wear out after a while leading to increased costs....etc.
I think they are usually cast iron as they have to take 40 tonne + trucks.

I like the ones that have asphalt over them. Them are ok but the iron ones suck and I avoid them like the plague. I will however say we have zero in my area.
