Good news and bad news

Good news: I just moved to Palm Springs, CA. Love the weather and roads leading to Big Bear/Idyllwild.

Bad news: I had to sell my FZ6 to do it.




So for a while, I guess I can follow you guys in my 2010 Volkswagen GTI as the refreshments cart for any bike trips. I'm trying to decide what my next steed should be... I LOVED my FZ6 and had no faults with it, but I feel like I have to buy something else since it's not every day you get the choice on buying something else.

I really like the new Kawasaki Z1000 and Versys.

Good place to see a good cross section of Sport and Super Sport bikes and just about some of every other type is Newcombs Ranch on Angeles Crest Highway, AKA Highway 2 & State Route 2.
Just Google map it. Best way is to go up through Wrightwood and on over to Newcombs, makes for a great ride even in the cage:thumbup:
Another really good spot for motorcycles is the Rock Store on Mulholland Highway not to far from Malibu. If your lucky Jay Leno will show up with something from his collection.
