Good Helmet for wind protection

Should have mentioned that I'm on a naked, and no, I haven't tried a different helmet yet.

I don't wear earplugs, but it's not necessarily the noise that bugs me, just the turbulence INSIDE the helmet. A reduction in noise and buffeting would really just be a bonus that goes along with less wind inside.

I've been riding with my glasses to solve the issue for now, but now that I've been thinking about it and looking into other helmets, the buffeting and turbulence around the helmet is also starting to annoy me.

Quite simply, i think your helmet is too big...or the cheek pads are too small...you can get different sized cheek pads for HJC helmets...

I have a HJC AC-12 Carbon helmet, and it is a very snug fit, it does not move at all when i shake my head from side to side, or up and down, and the cheek pads push firmly up against my chubby cheeks....this helmet is the quietest, and best fitting helmet i have ever had...

Every head is different, every head is a different shape...Web Bike World has a great graph with all the different helmets available out there, and the shape of each helmet...you need to go to a bike shop, and try on a whole bunch of decent quality helmets, and see which helmet fits your head best...it's the only way IMHO, buying helmets, sight unseen, is a very risky practise, if you wanna get a helmet that fits.
