No No wait you said not to take anything away from her, then went on to say that the only reason she is there is she is attractive.I won't articulate on the matter of things being easier or on the clear possibilities of a mechanical advantage which women do posses. I will also not articulate on the skills of Patrick relative to others that may have been given equal equipment. She came from Karting, never raced USAC and is a mid pack runner. She will never attain the level of a Shirley Muldowney or an Angele. She does however have something to talk about.
Any way you slice it, she is breaking new ground and paving the way to make women more interested in the sport, and maybe make the sport a more even match-up. The more publicity a woman gets, for whatever reason,t eh more young girls want to be her. Like I said before, at least now she's making news because of being a good racer. If she was a mid-pack driver, she wouldn't have won by almost 6 seconds.

Now someone says HEY thats a bunch of BS. And you wont "articulate on the matter"?
I cant put you on ignore anymore, you responded to a thread, with your normal put downs. You get called on it, and you wont answer it. By the reasoning you present, most of the field in every racing series should just go home. Its a race. Someone is going to first, and someone will be last.
The only thing I posted about was that she had won her first race. You cant even let her have that with out cutting it down. Jealous much?
See I had you on ignore for the past 7 or 8 months. Now that you are a moderator I cant put you on ignore, and you cant put me on ignore.
I did not as you say "fly off the handle". You denigrate someone elses talent, then when called on it, refuse to answer it.
I have not posted in any threads you start. I try to avoid reading anything you post. I really enjoy this forum, and I doubt as you say "I will take my toys and go home." I am going to call you on your BS. That simple.

An example of this is her 4th place finish at Indy. She got a cover story in Sports Illustrated while the winner of the race may well have been an also ran.... Go figure.
