All together, ready to bolt on and use your Monokey top case. Used but in excellent shape.

Not a dumb question at all. Givi photographs stuff in less than optimal ways. They're not very clear about it at all in their pics, and that's disappointing.

Nope, you don't need the side racks to use the top rack.

(but you do need the top rack to use the side racks)

PS... nothing wrong with the rack; I'm selling it because I sold the bike. :thumbup:

Did you remember to remove the wedge frame inserts (items 5, 7, and 8 in this PDF) when you removed the rack?

I got it sans wedges, so I made my own, and they're included. :thumbup:
