gauge problems?

I'm looking at buying an 05 fz6 that has the digital gauge and was wondering if anyone has had a problem with it since yamaha has not used it on the last few year models?

I like the S1 (old) style gauge more than the S2 (new) one.
It seems no one likes it as much as me
And i can confirm that they have no issue, at least mine has no problem.
With 30k km's and 5 years of use even with heavy rain.

Never had a problem with mine. I had the 06 which was S1 version.
