FZ6 Newbie.....

Hi you all,

One week since I Bought 08' FZ6 and absolutely love the bike,and right upgrade for me from GS500 and Suzuki Intruder that I owned before.Paid $2400 for the bike and it has 13,000 miles ,new tires on it but it has few cosmetic issues
>tank has few dents
>cracked front fender and fairing
>few bruises to frame

Rode 250 miles the very next day I bought the bike and it ride was without any issues.It has some after-market exhaust and intend to swap it over here in the forum for a stock one as it is too loud for me.Only thing I would change in the bike is taller windshield and higher handle bar.I intend to us the motorcycle for daily commuting and light touring.



I am interested in buying the following parts from the forum
> fuel tank (black)
> front fender
> rear mud guard and under tail
> blinkers
> front fairing inner panel
> handle bar and riser
> top case or pannier

Yesterday riding in 80F in downtown ,the engine temp reached 215 at one point. What is normal ,safe operating temp around town riding and what temp does the radiator fan kick in.Are there any gremlins or issues that I need to be concerned about the bike

What handlebar are you planning on putting on it? I also would like to make the riding position a little more upright.

I have found that most people on the forum recommend cortech soft luggage, which is what I plan on getting. For hard luggage everyone says that Givi is the best.

Are the stock throttle,clutch cable long enough to accommodate wider or higher handlebar .
