FZ6 Lowering Kit

Got a price in Ireland for €520 for lowering kit for 07 FZ6N. Mad money me thinks. Anyone near San Antonio Texas that would know if I could get a lowering kit there and if so recommend a shop/dealer. I am heading out there tomorrow for a week with work.

What does this lowering kit do? I got my FZ6-S lowered at a Yamaha dealer here in Norway for the equivalent to 420 US$. They raised the fork about 2cm, did some magic with the rear suspension (I haven't really inspected this one yet), adjusted the side stand to fit a bike that is now approx. 2.5cm lower and finally checked the front light alignment.

So far I haven't really noticed any negative impact on bike handling. It turns like a charm and is stable in all road legal speeds (+30%) here in Norway.

As Norway is a very expensive country, I guess the same job would cost less pretty much anywhere else.
