He has '08 forks that will fit the R6 calipers......actually I think the '08 calipers are the same as the older R6 calipers. Hence the "upgraded brakes" on the '07 and up.

so if i really wanted them on my 05.. i would have to get 07-09 fz6 forks and then the coresponding calipers??? thanks

I wouldn't waste your time unless you plan on upgrading the internals also..... I would just save up and get R6 Forks (better than FZ6 forks) and R6 Brakes (better than your brakes but same as newer FZ6's)

well.. the plan was for r6 forks but $$ is the issue.. i guess i can just wait.. thanks for the info

You will pay nearly as much for the FZ6 forks as the R6 if you wait for a deal, I got my R6 forks for around 170-180 on ebay. No brakes though so you will be out a little more....see if there are any bike salvage yards in your area....

Oh and by the way, i got my lap times down by another 5 seconds or so a lap, on a pretty consistent basis, when i took "oinky" out on Saturday....that means that each time i have been out to Mallala, i have improved 5 seconds each time...if i do the same next time i am out there, and lap at about 1.18sec, then that sort of time would had me qualifying about mid field in last years FZ6 race at the same track....
