If Yamaha doesn't come up with crossplane FZ1 they will lose a lot of customers to Kawasaki and other big Japs...

It's not, notice that the z1000s has exhaust on both sides.

Also it has the indicators on the fairing, and the new zx10 has them on the mirrors

Regards.

wow. Hats off to kawi for pushing the envelope in styling. I realize style is subjective, but their recent ninja's and z1000 are so racy and innovative looking they're tough to take your eyes off of. They've caught every little detail, like THE EXHAUST. These new bikes are going to draw a lot of riders in even if their performance is nothing to speak of, though something tells me that wont be the case. .

It's an adjustable windscreen in three different positions. I have a feeling it would be announced for the US October 5th....check out the Kawasaki web site. Looks great and same idea as the CBR1100XX - a little sportier/smaller than the ZX14. Curious what the wet weight will be.

So they decided to call it the Ninja 1000 for the US market. I'd still rather have the naked z1000 tho.

I do love the whole streetfighter thing (love my FZ6 conversion), but I must admit, if the 3-way adjustable screen on this Ninja is functional.. as in no buffeting and great protection, I think I'd rather have this than the Z1000.
