Fuel pouring from overflow and gas cap

Good morning yall,
I finally have my fz6 put back together and took it for a ride yesterday. It was about 90+ degrees outside and I rode it to the station to fill it up, did not fill the tank all the way (just about half way if that). And when I got home and parked the bike outside, fuel began pouring from the overflow and it seemed as if the gas vapors were not getting released and pressure built up so much that it started pouring from the gas cap seal as well. (Ruined the gas tank paint and all). I understand that the heat plays a role in the gas staying hot and building more pressure from more vapors but what could be keeping my tank from not releasing the vapors? Something could be blocked?

Thank you in advance, im on the last straw with this bike at this point unfortunately.
 
There are 2 small hoses that connect to the tank, one on the left and one on the right. One hose vents expanding fuel vapors from the tank while the other drains spillage from the top of the fill neck. I'm betting that the vent is kinked, allowing pressure to build, forcing fuel around the filler cap seal and into the drain hose. Or, if you have a California-spec model, there is a rollover valve in-line on the vent hose. Perhaps that is clogged.
 
To add to Toms post, both hoses should exit on the right side of the bike, about where the center stand
(and O2 sensor if installed) is.

You can feel thru the frame, for the hoses and gently tug them out.

I don’t believe it is a California model. There are both nipples on the bottom of the tank. But only the overflow hose, which is functioning properly, not the other one.

I do not have the CA model. I only have the overflow hose under the tank. The other hose is missing.

And I checked, the only hose (overflow) wasn’t kinked. But it is missing the venting hose. Maybe the actual nipple is clogged on the underside of the tank?

thank you for all the tips. Unfortunately, I’m going to be selling. Maybe get another, who knows. Going to stick with my cbr for a while. This bike has proved to be more of a headache and birds nest of problems being 80,000 miles and never having proper maintenance completed on it, even a valve adjustment.
