I've been looking for a throttle lock but also want to get heated grips. Other throttle locks say you can't use them with heated grips, but I'm pretty sure the throttlemeister works fine with them. The problem is that I've read lots of mixed reviews about it. I'd rather have a throttle lock that you can operate with your thumb for ease of use. What has your experience been with the throttlemeister?

They are the standard weight.

I just used my pinky finger instead of the thumb. But I like that the friction is adjustable and they are very solidly built.
