Front mudguard compatability

Hi can anyone help me with a quick question? I did a search here but couldn't find the answer.

I've got an '08 FZ6 and am looking at buying a spare front mudguard off fleaBay, right colour but taken from an '05 model. Will it fit my bike?

Thanks fzme, I've actually got one of these on the front mudguard currently fitted on my bike.

The additional mudguard I want to buy is to fit to the bike in summer when I don't need the fendaextenda so much. I just don't know if Yamaha changed the design or fitting of the front mudguard between '05 and '08.

Anybody know? Thanks

yes they did.. youll need 07+

The models are different as the 04-06 having the silver forks legs, and 07 onwards having the black fork legs. I think the mounting point and shape is different.
