From 180 to 170

Good morning all, my question for today. Has anyone change their stock 180 tire with 170 or smaller? Is this a good idea to make bike more flickable, and better handeling in turns? Thanks

I don't think this would be a good idea. I have also never heard of anyone doing it.

I'm not sure it would really help any performance in any way...I like to stick with what Mr.Yamaha put on it with the fz because this thing is fast!!!! on a chopper I will use anything that fit's because I never intend on getting over 60mph with them...

I would still stick with the 180. Just got new tires. I did'nt like the BT020. I got BT002. I love them.

Go with the 180. What kind of tires you running? I had Bridgestone BT020. Got new BT002's. I Love them. On the race track, 600cc bikes run a 180, some times a 190.
