I hate to put a damper on the conversation, but Anthony hasn't signed on in over 4 years. The FZ6 really doesn't require a steering damper, so if you think you need one it may be an indication that something else is wrong with the bike. What are the symptoms?

I figured it was a long shot. I’ve read everything on here about the damper, I was more looking to get one for the looks. I can’t find the mounting brackets without buying the ohlins new for $500

While steering dampers do look cool, they do add resistance to steering inputs, especially fast inputs...unless you adjust it to add zero damping...at which point it's just silly.
