First Ride of the Year and the FZ!!!

Got to go out on my first ride today! I really like the way the bike feels, didnt get to really get into it because i dont trust any roads with salt, but i have a feeling this summer is going to be fun!

The dirt road to the pavement was a little soft, note the back tire, but nothing going 2mph and a nice bath for the fizzer couldnt handle!

I just need my new riding boots to arrive! So i can not worry about my ankles.

So this was your first ride on the new bike? How warm was it and how long did you get to ride? First impressions other than the fact that you had an absolute blast?

Yeah first one on the bike and the year!

It was about 50 degrees out, so a little nippy but i didnt do too much at high speeds. I went out for about 20minutes around the town. I did not want to push my luck with a super early season ride!

As for the impression, I am surprised by how peppy the engine wanted to ride. Definitely not totally geared for the low end, but it moves when you want it to.

Also i love the riding position. Nice and aggressive, but still plenty comfort.

I am looking forward to some high speed and real distant/twisty riding. Didnt want to slide out on salt!

Great pic. I got a 150 mile ride in today to Gillette stadium and back.
