Finally got my "M"!!!

After 10years of on/off riding I finally took the time to go get my full motorcycle endorsement Friday. Been riding on renewed or expired permits all along in FLa. and SC. I don't know what I was waiting on :spank: I guess all the horror stories I heard had me nervous about it and didn't want to waste my time. I don't know about where everyone else lives but in SC the rider test was a breeze especially on the FZ. Did lose 7 points on the emergency braking portion because I just stopped fairly hard not full on panic stop but other than that Aced it. :rockon: It's a good feeling to know your legal no matter what.....night, out of state or whatever. Had a buddy with me as well on a CBR and he was having trouble on it so tried on the FZ and passed with ease as well. Had to give him a load though for not being able to pass on his "own" bike

Excellent! Congrats. I passed my rider test from 3 days of motorcycle safety ed class... highly recommended for new and seasoned riders too.

Congrats! I rode for a while on a valid and then expired permit too and I agree about getting the M; it is peace of mind to know that you're legal.

Well done and congrats,I rode outside my bike class for about 12 months,got sick of looking over my shoulder for coppers ,lol

It is a quick stop to see how short of a distance you can stop the bike. We do not want you to lock up the brakes we want you to use maximum braking. It is something you should practice anyway.

Thanks all, yea the emergency stop portion they want you to just stop absolutly as quick as possible. No points are accessed for skidding the tires if you do. Another good thing is when I go to Biketoberfest in a few weeks I'll be able to test ride some of the new bikes out. I'm really wanting to ride the B-king, FZ1 and some of the larger standards.

:noworries:Agh same here man except no vacation lol. I have been trying to get the yard ready for winter etc.... Hey man have a safe and good trip man with the vacation. Honestly oneday I would love to ride were you are. I don't and haven't seen much. Some time if you are wanting maybe I can meet you half way to your place and we go for a good ride sometime. I know winter is approaching soon but I mean if time permits. Take care man. :smoking: Hey and watch out for the dam deer two ppl have been killed here lately by deer one was near the city.
