Im just sitting outside in my rocking lawn chair BBQin and was wondering what everyones fav thing to bbq is.

List your fav food to bbq and any techniques you would like to share.

BRATS! definately my specialty. Johnsonville is the way to go. I use a Webber 22'' charcoal gril. I use the indirect method to cook. This consists of putting 25 coals on each side of the grill and leaving the middle open. I brown em for 2.5 min on each side over the coals then put them in the middle between the coals for about 14 min each side.

I like to bring out the KitchenAid mixer and attach the grinder. Then I take some good lean sirloin that marinated in teriyaki sauce overnight. Cut up some fresh sweet vadalia onions, some peppers, throw in some whole black pepper kernels and some fresh peeled garlic cloves. Start grinding all of these with the sirloin so it blends and mixes together. Let it sit for about an hour then make the patties and grill them. Low to medium heat. A good griller ONLY turns a burger once and never presses it. You know the side is ready when it doesn't stick to the grill. Flip, wait and serve with some Monterrey or Pepper jack and your favorite condiments. YUM!!!!

I smoked a turkey this week. Smoked three turkeys on Thanksgiving. But my favorite is pulled pork. First time I did a pulled pork I had the smoker burning wood around 4AM. When the neighbors woke up around 6AM, they thought someones house was on fire.

Grab some ears of corn, soak in water (in the husk) for a while, put em just above the fire, rotate as needed, enjoy:thumbup:

Call me to wherever the BBQ is at. That's my favorite part ;)
My favorite thing to grill is chicken, marinated in some Tandoor masala, me being an Indian and all. The actual recipe calls for baking the chicken in an oven (tandoor) but grilled suits me just fine

Last summer on Fire Island we did BBQ breakfast...

no pan...
stale italian bread soaked in egg and milk wrapped in tin foil and seasoned
Then BBQed thick cut bacon (the grill was a huge fireball of bacon grease)

Throw the bacon on the eggs and grill the bread to melt the cheese

Grilled Tomatoes on top and hand pressed

Fresh Horseradishey bloody marys.... Ahhh Summer

My favorite thing to GRILL (over hot coals) is a T-bone, rare, with Hearts of Belgium Endive rubbed with olive oil thrown on the last couple minutes, splashed with Balsamic vinegar when served (the endive).

My favorite thing to barbeque (cooked slowly over cool smoke) is beef brisket, over coals of 3/4 oak and 1/4 mesquite, thrown on the smoker at 0600 am and taken off at 6:00 pm, YUM!
