I tried to find threads on this and I have read my owners manual as well but I cannot find the lower limit on factory-installed coolant protection. I know the manual says to use a 1:1 mix, but has anyone actually checked "what's in there" from the factory? (Even the local dealer says, "It's probably good to down around 20 degrees F")
It's almost down to single digits here and I am wondering just how cold is my coolant good for? (I don't have a way to check it myself yet)
Thanks in advance!

I'm still on the OEM stuff 4 years after I bought the bike..... it's been down into the 20's without issue every winter. (I really should change it out with fresh stuff.)

It may sound pretty drastic, but if you are deeply concerned with whether your coolant will freeze and damage your motor...... drain it out. The potential damage comes from the ice expanding and warping some of the metal in the block. If there is no liquid, you do not have that issue.

Just make darn sure you replace it before you start the bike when the nasty stuff passes!

If you are worried about it, go to your local auto parts store, pick up a coolant tester and see for yourself.

FYI: I don't know where you park/store your Fazer in the winter, nor can I speak for anyone else but I checked my coolant today with a tester and my undiluted factory fill tested good down to -25 degrees F.
