Exhaust question

I have a 07 red FZ6, my problem (which i hope it isn't a problem) is after the scorpions slip-ons can it then meets the Y pipe. Where the Y pipe meets the mid pipe the clamp is striped and there is a leak. Should i be worried or no big deal. As i put my hand where they meet i can feel the air comeing out. Is this a problem or am i over acting.

think your over reacting shouldnt do any harm,but you could order a new clamp to put your mind at rest

I have the exact same bike with the scorpions too. Like already said it isnt going to make a big difference but you can go cycle gear and get them to order you a new clamp.



I had an 06' that got totaled in a wreck, it had scorpions on it and they leaked around the clamp. It got wrecked before i could order the new clamp.

Its probley the gasket. All the clamp does is hold it tight around the gasket.

Is the clamp tight? The gaskets are reusable, did it get removed when the exhaust was installed and not replaced or damaged?

I bought a stronger clamp and it's snug and no leek.
