i don't know about anyone else but it seems only yesterday i was wondering aloud 'i wonder how much excess amperage my fizzer has got?'

According to that about 22 watts (1/2 star)??? Moderation is the key. Too much of anything full time 100% can be bad.

That said if your off idle and underway many pull 40 to 50 watts without issue.

I suspect there are plenty cages out there that would fail to start/remain running if you turned on everything and just sat and idled for an hr...

Yep you're right, loose estimates I've seen over the years top it at 40-50, and I assume that site would lowball to disallow you to drain your battery w/ their gear. That said, most also save a few amps from led signals, brake lights, etc.
